Working for BearingPoint gives huge potential to develop an understanding of a wide variety of businesses
Working in the Quality Assurance (QA) Group in BearingPoint, I have been involved in a wide range of Systems Integration QA assignments formulating test strategies, test plans and monitoring test progress through all phases of projects. During my time with BearingPoint I have been given many opportunities to take on additional roles outside of the QA competency including trainer and business analyst positions. I have worked with a wide range of clients in a number of industries within the private and public sectors, such as postal, telecommunications, banking and media.
Working for BearingPoint gives huge potential to develop an understanding of a wide variety of businesses. I enjoy the challenge of consulting and have developed many valuable skills over the last 11 years of my career with BearingPoint.
Currently I am working as the Quality Assurance Lead on a large scale public sector project. My day begins with a morning ‘QA Stand Up’ meeting with my team to monitor progress and follow up on any issues. I then contribute to a team lead meeting which includes our project manager and members from the development, release and business analyst groups. In addition to delivering on agreed functionality and providing user acceptance training support, we as a team, strive to ensure that we are continually making process improvements to benefit the client. I have worked with particular clients for many years and have built up a great working relationship with them.
Outside the office
Outside of the office I am a busy mum with two children aged four and two. Much of my free time is spent with my family however I enjoy running and cycling, weather permitting of course!
