As a Manager within the Consulting team my role encompasses managing projects for our clients, working with my colleagues to grow and improve our business and supporting the development of our people.
The variety of projects I work on allows me to collaborate closely with high calibre people across our company including Project Managers, Business Analysts, Solution Architects, Software Developers, Quality Assurance Consultants and Data and Analytics Consultants.
I get great satisfaction from helping to coordinate their expertise towards a common goal that delivers positive and impactful results to our clients.
I really like the fact that I don’t have a normal day as no two days are the same! We operate in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where we bring value by applying structured and reliable techniques in an agile way to arrive at solutions that help our clients grow.
The range of activities I’ll carry out on any given day vary depending on what stage we are at in our projects. So today I could be facilitating client workshops to understand ways in which we can help the client team to improve their business and tomorrow I could be working with one of our development teams to ensure that the solution we’re developing is solving the problem a client has, or demonstrating the benefits of the solution to our client and agreeing how we can continue to help them improve their organisation.
Outside the Office
As a proud dad to three young children I’m kept nice and busy outside the office, and BearingPoint’s focus on maintaining a healthy work-life balance is important to me, allowing me to spend lots of time with my family.
Prior to working in Consulting I practised as an Architect so I still enjoy reading about Architecture and visiting beautiful buildings when I get the chance.
