Returning to work after maternity leave can be a daunting and nerve wrecking experience but within 30 minutes of being back in the office I was welcomed back by HR with a hug asking all about my time away and helping me to settle back into working life. It was so reassuring. I was back on a project within a number of weeks which allowed me to establish a new routine quickly and easily which also fit in with my family.
