  • Consultants Clean Canal

    BearingPoint held its inaugural Canal Clean-up event on July 28th. A highly motivated team of 14 volunteers collected 16 bags of litter in 1.5 hours along the Grand Canal, just a few minutes walk from BearingPoint’s city centre location. Afterwards, the volunteers reconvened at the office to compare results and share their experiences, while enjoying some well-earned pizza and drinks. The event was organised by the Corporate Social and Responsibility (CSR) team as part of their commitment to Our People, Planet and Society.     In January 2021, BearingPoint announced professional boxer, Eric Donovan, as our new Health and Well-being ambassador. As a former five-time Irish amateur champion and double European bronze medalist, Eric brings considerable experience as an elite athlete to his new role. Keeping Fit All BearingPoint employees now have the opportunity to attend online fitness sessions led by Eric. These twice-weekly sessions are aimed at all fitness levels and family members are welcome to join in.     Naomi is a Senior Technology Consultant with BearingPoint. She’s currently working on a large public service project.     I’m Billy Dardis and I joined BearingPoint’s People and Strategy team in June as part of a summer internship for my Master’s in Management Consultancy from UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School. As a part-time student, I was due to complete this module of my studies in the summer of 2021, however, the global pandemic presented me with an opportunity to gain experience in the consulting space and expose myself to some new challenges.     My name is Sarah and I work in the Business Consulting team in BearingPoint. For the last couple of years, my role has included the responsibility of managing and developing the BearingPoint Digital Leaders Study (DLS) for the Irish office. This study examines and compares the digital maturity of Ireland’s top companies in eight different industries across several dimensions.
